Author’s Lectures

Local authors are invited to speak at the library about their latest works and personally autograph copies. Past authors who have presented for us are Sallie Bingham and William DeBuys.

Sallie Bingham is a very good friend and a regular presenter at our library.  She recently read from her book The Silver Swan: Searching for Doris Duke.  We look forward to hearing her read from her soon-to-be-published book “Little Brother” or her most recently published book Treason: A Sallie Bingham Reader.

William deBuys is a neighbor and friend of the Truchas Library.  Here he reads for us from his book A Great Aridness.  We look forward to hearing him read from his latest book The Trail to Kanjiroba: Rediscovering Earth in an Age of Loss.
